Honorable sir, Approx 100 hindu people came in our house for the reason of we are Hindu and We are selling our land to Muslim citizen. We were scared so We raised a case approx 3 months ago through court -crpc section 144/107. Police inquiry done. Now we are thinking that....... will we called from the court or not? We are very financially weak If we will called then need we appoint a advocate or not? Does plaintiff and defendant both parties need to appoint a advocate always in civil/criminal case? Plz sir solve my 3 question?.

1. Since Police inquiry was done, so you are almost safe regarding case under section 107 Cr.P.C. 2. You will be called if your evidence will be required, so no need for advocate as State will give you Govt lawyer. 3.case can be presented in person as well but for financial weaker section, free legal aid is available across India. Even in the same Court where you will appear. You have to give your written request to the Hon'ble Court for legal Aid. Then Hon'ble Court will pass order for legal assistance.

Dear client, I am sorry for your trouble however selling a land to a person of different religion is not a problem in India however is someone has file a case against you that you have to employee and advocate in order to defend you.
