I was recruited from college in IT company. Everything was going good but after working 1.9 years HR called me and asked me to leave the company because the company was going through losses. So HR said that I can search for a new job and the company will pay me 2 months of salary. So I joined another company within a time span of 10 days. So my relieving date is 29-May-2018 and joining the second company date was 10-April-2018. So in this case dual employment is coming. And further companies are asking me to resolve this issue else they won't recruit me because of dual employment. And I asked my 1st company to correct the dates I am ready to pay my salary of 2 months which they had paid me. But they are not considering my request.

Your old company will resolve the issue by rectifying your relieving date which will put the things in very right perspective and the reliving letter be also got issued on the same date. It is sure that there must not be any discrepancy in both the dates. Hi, from the information provided by you, could you please elaborate on whether the actual relieving date and the relieving letter given by the Company are the same, and if they are, all you can do is peacefully appeal to the second company to understand your position as the difference between the relieving date and the starting date at the second company is of significant difference. If there is any discrepancy between the actual relieving date and what the company has issued to you through their letter, then you can send a legal notice to the company to get this rectified.
