Maternity Benefits Question

I have been on maternity leave for 3 months now and have 3 more months. During this time the company has not planned for a replacement and continues to send papers and emails to me. Expecting me to sign as I am still the authorized signatory the alternative signatory has resigned and they have not appointed anyone still. Can I sue them for making me work or request for extension of benefits with work from home
