When asking a legal query/opinion (either offline or online), different advocates give different opinion, many-a-time 'directly conflicting and condraticting' answers for the same question. (To give an eg., whether police has powers in a matter, irrespective of experience, some advocates say yes, while some say no)
If so, as an individual, instead of blindly believing the opinion, how do one take 'informed' decisions when faced with such conradictions and lack of unanimity in some matters? The query is not limited to the example provoded above, but, in general.
