See, she might also act as if she never wanted for Divorce, Who can turn down such a good offer of alimony, when all it requires is some drama, like wanting to come back!! The court knows best, There are many decisions, incidents, etc All it requires is a good knowledge and skill to make the Court agree what you plead!! The best advantage is, your brother has some physical complications, so tell your Lawyer to use the it in a best way but in a legal and proper manner!! There's a rise in cases like this and bride takes the advantage of Law, It has to stopped from making Law a Tool!

Engage a good Lawyer!! Just simply don't ruin your case with the easiest way available!! Check for Revision or Review etc before going to SC!! Good Luck!!

The doc's signed by her are important!! Coz it's providing an assurance that she's taking her own decision!! It's like you are leaving the Job before the term expires but you want the monetary benefits!! She decided for divorce!! Doesn't mean that the sufferer (your brother) has to compulsorily pay!! but it has to be challenged exactly in the right manner!!

Yes it's Challengable!! There was a case of Madhya Pradesh High Court, The Hon'ble HC did not grant either an enhancement of interim maintenance or any money to the wife for travel to the court for fighting the divorce case. In this case Mamta was educationally qualified and had been working as a college lecturer, even though later she lost her job.
