You dose not need to stay with your husband for a single day if the case is exceptional and in exceptional case you can get the divorce on first hearing of the divorce petition even filed mutually or not.... and the exceptional situations are under which it is not possible in any condition to live any single day with your spouse and if the case is not exceptional then you can get the divorce within six months and 10 more days.... 7665644111 and my all brother lawyers please don't mislead any Client .... if not confirm please take suggestion from your surrounding seniors... one lawyer providing the divorce under section 138 of HMA.... dear lawyer section 138 belongs to NIA that is Negotiable Instruments Act which pertains to the cheque bounce cases.... and section 13B is available for proceed for mutual divorce.... extremely disappointed from the performance of the lawyers.....

As per Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, mutual consent divorce can take 6 months as a cooling off period. File a case and wait for the perfect.

it will take 6months to 1 year. the most important thing what's the date of marriage it should not be less than 365days(1year) from the date of filing of divorce petition.
