Dear Client, Don't worry, you and your mother would not be liable as you have not signed and executed any agreement. Secondly you have not acquired not of the asset from your father or his income. The only issue could be the amount of money transfer in your account, for that let me know the date of transfer and your age and occupation at the time of the said transfer. In the meantime, we can make a complaint letter describing in detail, against the employer for threatening you and your mother. It would not be a sip of coffee for the employer to drag your properties before the court of Law, so don't worry. Thanks. Regards. Adv. Vrushabh Savla

Dear Client, son is under the Pious obligation to furnish the father's debt. But the Wife is not under any obligation. The loan taken by your father is unsecured which means he hasn't mortgaged the property for taking the loan. However, it is impossible for the creditor to take over the mother or anyone's property. For more queries, please contact Thank you.
