I filed a case in court for cheating my money against the accused via case us 156(3) which converted into complaint case by the magistrate. The case is still going on in other court. Now I want to file a complain for the above case in other police station against the accused.Can I file a complain in other police station? Please advise.

Dear Sir, There cannot be two complaints in respect of same offence. You may ask the Magistrate to close the first case and then you can lodge a complaint in another Police Station. At the time of withdrawing first complaint you may reserve a right to lodge complaint on the same cause of action that is in respect of same offences and incident.
