Appear and get bail from JM and thereafter move a discharge petition. Alternatively move high court for quashing the FIR and criminal proceeding against your mother-in-law. Criminal proceeding cannot be avoided. You have to go by law to get discharge from the case.

Dear Sir, Since rent agreement includes supply of electricity by the owner as such it is his bounden duty to supply electricity and not stolen electricity. You just approach High court to quash the name of your mother in law in the FIR and the court will consider sympathetically and remove her name from FIR.

You can go to the electricity board office and register a complaint there.

yes u can shift but u should inform the new address on the next date to court. if there is no direction from court that u can't shift then u can shift. Fees - 3k per hearing plus drafting fees. if u want to pay lump sump for whole case then it will be 20k.
