Acestral Land Fowl Play

Hello sir/mam there is a case in which A man has two sons.He is having land from his own name.Till now there has been no partition in land ...only the younger son is using it.Now the elder son wants to take his 1/3rd of share...for it the elder son went to apply in court..the court people told him to bring papers of land.when he went to take the papers from collector's office...there the pages related to those land were torn.Also those land papers are so old that they are not available in net.Please suggest what to do in this condition?
