I am a non -agriculturist resident of Haryana , for my post retirement wish to start a horticulture/agrifarming of flowers based in utrakhand. 1. Can i buy Agriculture land (say 2acres) 2. can i buy land which is currently not used for Agriculture (non agriculture land) and use it for agriculture and small part of property for living There seems to be lot of confusion in different forums/ sites. there is no bar or limittion purchasing Agrl land . If it is an assigned land you cannot. if you want to cultivate it depends upon your capacity. If at all you want to go ahead with commercial activity the land has to be converted into commercial land
