    It's one of the tricky way. But u need to understand that Partnership firm is a separate legal entity. If u need absolute and marketable title over the land, in your name, then paying stamp duty is the best way, even if u can succeed in this tricky way, if challenged in court later, then that stamp duty payment and marketable title will be the yard stick to assess your absolute ownership.. to answer ur Qs 1) Yes, but property will be in Firm name, where ur rights is subject to the terms in partnership deed. 2) Technically u can't change in your name, however practically u can. Stamp fee avoiding will trouble while u transfer to others. For further assistance, better book for consultation.
