I have an elder brother (we two). My mother made a deed of settlement of land in 2012 With witnesses of my father and elder Brother. Now my father is no more. And my brother is threatening my mother to revoke the deed of settlement and share it as two. Note: I didnâ€™t subdivide above mentioned land in my name yet, due to I am working out of my home state. Now my question Is Is it possible to revoke that settlement in any means? What are the complications that can disturb me? Our family consists: Father- expired Mother- Alive Brother Myself Thanks in advance

Gentleman, It is difficult to get it revoked. Because some people must be alive and could recognise the signature of your father. Secondly the scribe who prepared the document at the instance of your Mother can also be used as witness. Even your Mother can also use her prerogative for partition of the said land. You have a good case and you will succeed if challenged in Court.
