Asked in Property
pls explicates the purpose of the GPA to enable the experts to answer your query
The question is somewhat incomplete as the purpose of GPA has not been mentioned. If the purpose relates to the immovable property then it requires a registered Power of Attorney. But in other small matters the Notarised document will do. But the Registered Document is unambiguous and beyond any shadow of doubt in case of any dispute. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and book a consultation for further discussion and explanation if required.
When a person residing in india where the registration act applies, if he executes GPA to sell his property, in order to have legality it should be executed before Registrar or Subregistrar of the place where he resides. Without such valid GPA, notary GPA is not valid.
