Thanks sir. We have submitted our original WILL in the LAOP case whic was dismissed in 1995. Did not collect originals, it's not tracable now. Suppose If we want to sell the property can I get any reference or acknowledgement from the court about holding untraceable WILL. i do have certified copy of the WILL , patta and other documents except original WILL . How do I sell the property when my property WILL is not traceable in District Sub court. Please advise. Thanks in anticipation.

Dear Sir, You have to take an endorsement from the Court that the particular file having original Will cannot be traced. You can use certified copy of Will as secondary evidenced coupled with original register available with the Sub-Registrar office if it is registered.
