Asked in Property
Mr.Amar, There are many things to be considered, as per Hindu Succession Act e.g. Is he married? Who else are there in your family? whether it was his self acquired property? whether you are living in joint family set-up or living separately? But if you have apprehension that your father is going to sell this property you can file a suit for permanent injuction and can also file a suit for partition, wherein all the above things will be taken care-of according to law. Consult a local lawyer for the same.
