Hi , I have taken a shop on rent from last 45 years and all rents paid till now. 7 years before we gave shop for using to one of our relative, no documents or deed done. Now he is not ready to vacate the shop and I am unable to do anything since I am not owner of shop. Rent receipts are on my name and shop act also is on my name. Please advice how do I progress on this.

You have subletted the rented shop and violated the provision of rent law, now the landlord have cause of action against you and your relative.
