There is one plot which used to be on my Father's name. But from 2 years, owner of the property in property tax - my brother name mentioned. Has my father transferred plot on my brother's name as only my brother name is coming on 'owner of property' in property tax? My father always refuses. He has not transferred. Also, there is one plot in which the owner of the property in property tax - both mine and brother's name mentioned on property tax. Can you please tell does the owner of the property in property tax matters as my Father keeps on saying the owner of the property name in property tax does not matter.

Dear sneha, you need to check any mutation entry has been done related to tranfer of name in property tax records. you have to file file application to property tax department along with legal heir certificate to enter your name in that records.
