Self earned property can be settle to anyone as of his wish. If no will or gift executed the to all legal heirs equally.. Wife, sons & daughters.. If any byelaws of the society/trust gives succession to others then it will go to them accordingly.. otherwise that also goes by succession i.e. to legal heirs for further assistance plz book for consultation..
Your father can deal with his self acquired property as he wishes. Case No.1: If No Will is Left: If your father dies intestate, Sec.8 of Hindu Succession Act applies, i.e., your mother, you along with your siblings are entitled to equal share. Case No.2: If Will is Left: The properties left by your father will be distributed as per his Will and school / trust etc., fall under this option.
if will is there then as per will.. if no will then as per Hindu Succession act
