Dear Sir, It depends upon State to State, better you consult local registration authority and get required documents as per local laws.

You can approach the Sub-Registrar office and enquiry from them about the status of the deed of conveyance. If they have already handed over the document to your authorized advocate, then ask him to hand over your deed of conveyance. If he doesn't then contact me for further assistance.
