My name is Rupinder Kaur. I am living with my 2 brothers on separate floors in the same house from the last 16 years with my children. I am a widow. My father was expired in 2011 but he was not made any will or not transfer property to anyone. But now my children has been grown and now I want big space so I want to sell my floor but our house property paper lies with my small brother and he is not giving us the same or not their interest in making paper separate papers for each floor. So help me in this situation. What I can do.

Under such circumstances it is advisable for you to go for Partition of the property and get your share determined by the court. Then you will be at liberty to deal with your property independently.
