I was born in 1976. my father purchased a land in 1984 and registered it on my name. in 1988 my brother was born. in 2000 my father constructed a house in the land and house permission was taken on my mother's name. recently my father died. now my mother is forcing me to give share in the land. what should I do.

Originally it is a self acquired property of your father. Further after his death, it devolves on his wife that is your mother.

It is a benami purchase and is enjoyed and possessed jointly treating the same as joint property, all the legal representatives of your father have equal share.
