I completed my post graduate training from a medical college under NRI quota. During the submission of my thesis in the last year of my training, my college asked me to sign a one year service bond failing which they said would not accept my thesis. So I signed it in a stamp paper. Now after completing my course the college is asking for money to break the bond. I don't want to do the bond. They are also not releasing my certificates which I had deposited with my college during admission. I need those certificates for higher studies. What can be done? Please advise

You may approach the High Court and get some relief.

it will be better to deal as per University rule and regulation check the same but they can not keep your documents with them already deposited with them

The bond is a legally sworn document it is difficult to wriggled out of it. However, a negotiations can be reached mutually by plea bargain. Try for that if you succeed.
