as per the interpretation of the clause you cannot enter into any business, however, you can apply to get necessary permission from your employer to start the business, Alternatively, you can start the business in the name of some other family member. And add yourself as a sleeping partner/director
It depends upon the amount of involvement of an employee. You business You intends to start also depends upon the same lines. It depends upon the Policy of the company also as to how seriously take this issue. If you sense of future impediment you start the business in the name of some other family member and execute it yourself. The stocks business does not have any direct involvement and also does not require much time hence remained aloof.
