I used to work in an organization but due to some health issues, I resigned than after some time a company person asked me to rejoin and I Re-joined that organization. Before joining they told me to it is work from home till lockdown so I joined the organization on 15th May 2020, but once the training was over they started forcing me to come to Delhi. So I have resigned from the company without serving any notice period. Now they have sent me a letter asking me to pay the dues for the unserved notice period. What would happen if I don't pay?

If its head office is in New Delhi then they can file money recovery suit and get it decreed ex-party but executing the same is very difficult there are several provisions by which you can ask the other parte to disclose entire properties of the family. Gentleman, first of all go through the Appointment Letter/Offer Letter it will enlighten you about situation..Secondly some State Governments had issued Notifications giving some Relief in such like cases. It will save the situation. If everything is negative they remotely have the right to recover the amount but it depends upon the internal policy of the Company..
