18 years of age is required compassionate appointment,otherwise his wife is entitled for this job.

it depends on state policies some state government gives the job tho spouse or if spouse or children are not capable for the job then in conditions government gives salary to his family till retirement of the person who is expired & case of delhi police or railway job given to the child when he attain age of 18 there are many cases of railway or delhi police where the father expire & child is studing in 10-12th class then they get the job after attain age of 18 & completion of their graduation.

sir by the time of death if boy completed all the requisite he is eligible for job however leave an application with the appointing autborities. It may be help full in feature.that too after attaining majority.
