Serve a representation on the company- legal notice. Utilise social media channels against the company as well as there are a lot of companies that are hiding behind Covid pandemic and not paying fresh joinees or even interns. This has got to stop. Moreover, companies value their reputation too much to not pay an intern a nominal amount rather than have disrepute come to them. Get in touch for further course of action.
It is advisable that you may serve a representation to the management of the company requesting therein to pay you the stipend of your internship which you did perform in the company. The stage of serving legal notice shall come thereafter if you do not get your payment in response to your presentation.
As you are aware, internship is an on site training given by organization to a trainee / fresher. More often, it will be without pay, however, if your offer letter specify stipend, then you are entitled to same and burden lies on you to prove that you attended the program. Better try to settle the issue amicably with the management without protracting the matter, more importantly you are starting your career. Do not put your career at STAKE. In order to gain stipend (which could be a paltry amount) compared to Intern Certificate to be given by company, and that, your career, try and close the matter amicably by talking to them. If you take up legal route, it may BOMARANG. GOOD LUCK !!
I hope you have not physically worked for the mentioned period. In current situation only advisable to request the company to pay the stipend. Its advisable not to force the company by way of legal notice or other ways.
Yes if employer mentioned in your offer letter for stipend you can file case against employer in labour court
Dear client, According to pandemic covid situation this is also like natural calamities. Gentleman, get a legal notice served upon all the responsible offices of the Company indicating the violation of the terms mentioned in the Offer Letter. you will succeed. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and contact me telephonically for further discussion and explanation if required.
Just request them multiple times and also approach your jurisdictional labor inspector otherwise you may lose your internship. If my answer is helpful to you then please give my FIVE STAR
Ms. Sakshi, If the offer letter clearly states that stipend would be paid, they are legally bound to pay you. Mail them and to their head office (if any) stating that if they fail to pay you within 15 days, you will get them issued a legal notice. If they still fail to pay you stipend, issue them a legal notice. Best,
