    Sir, the meaning of this line is exactly as you are interpreting it. It says 3 months notice or 'remuneration in lieu'. This means that the money due for 3 months - x days will be deducted from the salary payable to you. This is not an employment bond where you have to pay certain money to get out of the employment, they will just cut it from your salary. Draft your resignation and get it vetted from a lawyer.
