Restricting PF Deduction @ 12% Of 15000 Than The Actual Basic Salary

I am currently working for a US entity remotely from India. We get our salaries from the payroll service provider company on behalf of our company. The payroll service provider makes all the tax and PF deductions required as per Indian laws. My basic salary is above INR 15000 and presently the payroll service provider is deducting PF contribution @ 12% of the actual basic salary. I want to restrict the contribution to the statutory requirement limit i.e. 12% of basic salary which is as per the provision of EPF Act. Please help me know if there is any procedure that needs to be followed or this can be done just by requesting our Payroll service provider. Does the payroll service provider have the right to reject this request?
