You cannot claim compensation but can approach the labor commissioner and get an endorsement to approach civil court for resolving your issue on the basis of following circulars. Similar endorsements were given to some candidates. Send a legal notice to your college. termination without notice and without valid reason is illegal. You can sue your college before the labour court claiming your salary including the pandemic period if they do not settle inspite of your legal notice.

Your problem is the outcome of circumstances. But the system is sensitive abut it. You can claim your right as your termination is illegal. You are very well within your right to contest the same. contact me after reviewing my resume if some further discussion is required..

If the college has terminated you without a valid reason you may make a representation to the superior authority in the college and the University with a request therein to reinstate you in the service of the college. The matter of compensation comes at a later stage depending upon the consequence of your representation .

Dear Satish As per recent hon'ble Apex court direction a Pvt organisation can't be sued for deducting employees salaries amid lock down. An employee can claim his dues just sending demand notice and settlement between the parties before labour commissioner. This is a matter of mutual discussion now.
