Child Custody And Maintenance

Hi, My wife has intentionally left my parents house with my child of 4 years and has decided to stay with her parents. Now she is demanding maintenance money. I was not home when she left the house with my daughter. We do not have any court case as of now and also there is no harassment as such. I do not want to give divorce and have told her to come back but she is insisting to be with her parents and child. I have with me her and my daughter's passport which she is asking back. I have told her she can take hers not my daughters as I am still the legal guardian of my daughter. I need advice on following:- 1. Can I deny giving the passport as we do not have any case in court as such. 2. Can I go to her house and claim my daughter back. What if she denies and then what options do I have. Please advice.
