Not at all, the Protection of women from domestic violence Act, 2005 only applicable in case of domestic violence against female member, who is residing with any male person under domestic relationship under blood relationship or relationship developed after marriage or after adoption. Unfortunately, the domestic violence act doesn't favour of any male person as such no male person can make any complaint of domestic abuse against any female/family members rather mother or wife or sister can make complaint against her brother, father, husband etc.
Dear Sir, You are under misconception. The provisions of DV Act not applicable to men. However, your mother may exercise such powers against her daughter-in-law etc.
