Tenant Is Not Vacating The Premises After Agreement Expired

The tenant is not vacating the premises even after the agreement expired. last year in February security deposit also got consumed since he didn't pay rent for 8 months straight. After his security deposit consumed we asked him to vacate house in march last year. Since there was lockdown last year he couldn't vacate. Now it's been more than a year he has not paid a single rupee of rent or water bill dues. When we asked for the rent he is giving random dates and assured us he will clear dues but didn't honor to any of his commitments. Finally after lot of insisting he gave us a cheque of pending dues which is more than 1 Lakh and asked for final two months extension. Now that period also over so when we asked him he badly abused us and threatening to do suicide. Kindly suggest what all action I can take against him. I am badly affected with this as I am dependent on rents for livelihood.
