Sir, If a property was divided at home without going to court, and a partition deed was made on bond paper and stamp paper… Our grandfather signed that partition deed. At that time, our father was 15 years old. Now our grandfather has passed away. But we did not receive a proper share. Can our father file a case in court now? The partition deed was made in 1985, but it was not registered.

If a partition takes place while a co-sharer is a minor, and that partition is "unjust or unfair" to the minor's interest, the minor has the right to challenge it upon reaching adulthood.
