My Employer Is Denying For My Experience Letter And Salary Slips

My Employer is denying to provide my experience letter and last 3 months salary slips as he says that I have return the laptop of the client to the client's office and then only he will provide me with the relieving documents. I have been laid off by my client and him unethically since a month and I have got another job after giving multiple interviews. My father is paralysed and i am not at my hometown to ship the laptop. But I need to provide the documents to my recent office. He stated on the call and even on the contract it is written that I will be serving a notice period of 1 month but he laid me off without prior notice. This was really absurd. Now he is not even giving me my Experience letter or salary slips.
