Regarding Final Settlement From The Employer

I had worked as a project engineer in one Bengaluru based MNC for one year. After completing the 2-month notice period, had properly relieved from the firm on 30th August 2019. There are no pending dues on my side. Now the employer refused to proceed with my final settlement and other formalities. For the last 1-year, I have been trying to get a response over a series of trail mails, phone calls, have not received anything yet. Every individual blaming one another and not giving a proper answer. As per my colleague's statement, I am doubting the management lost all of my documents. It seems they are trying to dilute this issue. What is the legal way to fix and get my settlement?
