    Dear Sir, Immediately file a money suit on the basis of cheque which will be considered as negotiable instrument equivalent to promissory note. Thus, you can bring a suit for recovery of such amount with interest on his wife and major childrens and immediately court will attach the properties left by him. Get issue a legal notice first.     You can file the suit for recovery of amount against the legal heirs of the deceased before the competent civil court. Summary suit can be filed against the Legal Representatives of the deceased.

    Hello The cheque is issued at the time of his life. yes you can deposite that cheque and it will be accepted by your bank but dont tel bank that person is dead. ... If the dead person has sufficient amount in his bank account then cheque issued by him will be honered . But cheque should be given by him before his death. Thanks.
